The Rundown: Annalise discovers her father as his friends and enemies decide on what to do next.

As Annalise finds herself surrounded by destruction, people she doesn’t know and a robot who insists on saving her, a cadre of strange individuals meets to discuss whether or not they should intervene to rescue her father from the forces that have invaded his island home. As she fights with the robot trying to protect her, the leader of the invasion’s superior officer discovers that the attack wasn’t sanctioned.

After fighting her way back home, Annalise discovers her father’s body and his assistant along with the robot fight to help her escape before explosively covering their tracks. As Annalise drifts in the sea with her robot protector, a ship appears, but it might not be the salvation she was hoping for.

The Story: Rosenberg crafts a thrilling, fun and entertaining follow up issue. I love the layers of narrative throughout the story and how the mystery within it continues to grow and evolve. I like Annalise as a character a lot and her journey of discovery about her father is interesting to experience. I liked the appearance of the new characters and how they add new and intriguing elements to the story. I will definitely be picking up the next issue after the fun and engaging cliffhanger.

The Art: Landini crafts beautiful art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of this series and the character designs are fantastic.
